Before you begin...

This pattern uses slip stitches (sl), single stitches (sc), and half double crochet stitches (hdc) into the back loop and third loop of the hdc.

Useful Tips:

1. Use 5 balls of yarn (2 balls of color A, 2 balls of color B, and 1 ball of color C)

2. Use 2 crochet hooks (use a larger 6mm crochet hook for the chain row to prevent tight stitches)

3. Chains don't count as stitches

4. To change yarn (instead of completing the last step of the stitch with the current yarn, drop the current yarn and pick up the new yarn. Make the final loop with the new yarn color, so just the top loop of the stitch is the new color)

5. There is a right side of the pattern (odd rows) and a wrong side of the pattern (even rows). The wrong side will have loops from the yarn color change

6. When changing yarn, always pull the old yarn to the same side (i.e. the wrong side) of the project
