Row 2: Sl st to a dc to join, ch 1, * sc 3. Skip 1. Repeat * around. Sl st to sc 1 to join.

Row 3: Ch 1, * sc 1 in the ch 3 space, dc 6 in the next space. Repeat * around for a total of 4 petals.

Row 4: Turn work. Ch 1, * sc 3. Skip 1. Repeat * around. Sl st to sc 1 to join.

Row 5: Turn work. Sl st to ch 3 space. * dc 6 in the ch 3 space, sc 1 in the next space, to stagger the petals. Repeat * around for a total of 4 petals.

Row 6: Turn work. Ch 1, * sc 3. Skip 1. Repeat * around. Sl st to sc 1 to join.

With Color C:

Row 8: Sl st to the center ch 1 at the top of the petals, ch 3, * dc 3, ch 5, dc 3, ch 5. Skip to the next petal ch and sc 1, ch 5. Skip to the next petal ch space. Repeat * around for a total of 4 big leaves and 4 accent stitches. Sl st to sc 1 to join.

Fasten off color C.

Part 1: Assembly

Assemble the pattern on the floor and then stitch marker to keep it together.

Slip Stitch Join

Assemble the bag by sl st the squares together.

I pefer to do the columns then the rows.

Flip the bottom granny square up and sl st the remaining open seam to secure.

Handle

Chain: Ch 83 (or any other length for your handle)

Row 1: Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc down the chain, leaving 1 st left. Sc 8 in the last st. Sc down the other side of the chain, leaving 1 st left. Sc 8 in the last st. Sl st to the initial sc.

Row 2: Ch 1, sc down the chain, at the sc 8, place 2 sc in each stitch, sc back down the chain, at the sc 8, place sc in each stitch. Sl st to the initial sc.

Row 3: Ch 1, sc down the chain, at the sc 16 do a sc 1, sc 2 repeat, sc back down the chain, at the sc 16 do a sc 1, sc 2. Sl st to the initial sc.
