( 6 single stitches total ) Single crochet 1 in the second back bump from the hook then single crochet 1 in each of the remaining 5 back bumps. Turn work.

Row 1

( 6 single stitches total ) Chain 1, back loop single stitch in each stitch.
Repeat row 2 until the band can easily fit around half of your waist ( 20(S), 30(M), 40(L), 50(XL) rows ).
Do not fasten off.

Row 2

This section is worked as flat rows using the back loop single crochet stitch. The first row is worked as back bump single crochet stitches for a cleaner look.

Front Panel

Collar

For all sizes: Sl st with color A and ch 5. Turn hook back and sc 4 up the chain. Sl st up to the next stitch on the sweater and turn.

BLSC 4 sl st up to the next stitch on the sweater and turn.

Repeat row 2 and 3 around the sweater. On the last row, fasten off the yarn and weave in the tail in row 1.

This section is worked as flat rows using the back loop single crochet stitch. The first row is worked as back bump single crochet stitches.
