This is a quick sweater that you can complete over the course of about a week! Please feel free to adjust the waist, waistband, sleeve length, and body length or add fun pockets for a different look.
I designed this pattern using scrap yarn so feel free to change hook sizes or double yarn to create cool color combos.

This pattern was designed as a stash buster so be sure to use what you have! You can use weight 6 yarn or multiple strands of lesser weight yarn to get the same results.
When making this I used two strands of weight 4 yarn for the body amd three strands of weight 3 yarn for the sleeves.
Linen stitch - sc1 + ch1

Make 2 sleeve cuffs. This section is worked in flat rows then joined togther to make the sleeve cuff.

This next section is worked in the round using single stitches and the linen stitch.
Crochet Tip - If you turn the cuff upward, you can easily linen stitch over both of the yarn ends so you don't have to weave in the ends.

Make 1 back piece. This next section is worked as flat rows of linen stitch.
(Make 1)
Make 1 waistband. This section is worked as flat rows using slip stitch.

This section is worked as flat rows using the back loop slip stitch.
(Make 2)
This section is the decrease for the top of the font panel that creates the v neckline. Again worked as flat rows using the back loop slip stitch.
(Make 1)
Make 1 long piece that will wrap around the entire raw edge of the sweater.
(Make 1)
I prefer to assemble all of my pieces inside out using a single crochet stitch to join the two layers.
(Make 4)
Make you pocket width and length however you'd like. I usually make square pockets using 2 crochet squares seamed together on 3 of the four sides.
Note - Use a smaller crochet stitch (such as a sc or hdc) if you'd like sturdy pockets.
You can also just make two granny squares and add them to the front of the sweater for a different look!
